Is it a good idea to have MDF interior doors? MDF doors are constructed from a type of engineered wood product known as medium density fiberboard and are suitable for paint-grade applications. They are considered to be of higher quality than molded doors and can be manufactured in sections for genuine stile and rail construction, either as a complete MDF door or combined with wood.
