Interior doors

What was once popular has now been overtaken by newer finishes such as black nickel, satin nickel, pewter, bronze and antique black. Nickel is perfect for modern homes, while more vintage finishes always work well in older cottages and more traditional settings. Satin chrome and polished chrome have always been popular choices, and polished brass still has its place in some classic homes.

Door handles on a round or square rosette are what most people buy today. They look modern and streamlined, and there are designs to suit all types of doors, from the most classic to the most modern.
If you have a new door, everything depends not only on its color and design, but also on the furniture and on the floor. If you’re just looking to upgrade your existing doors, then you can go with a custom-shaped rear panel doorknob (slat) that will cover any existing door openings. Entrance doors

Theoretically, any door lever can be put on the front door. Finishing is probably the most important consideration for any exterior or front door. Lacquered surfaces such as polished brass on the outside deteriorate rather quickly if damaged by keys or rings, allowing air to enter the bare metal. Chrome or stainless steel will work best, however all handles will need extra care if they are in a truly open position allowing the weather to damage them. Regular cleaning with warm soapy water and a dry cloth and then a light coat of wax will really help to keep them looking shiny.
