Ensuring reliability is manifested as a result of the fact that the locking bolt is also controlled by an electric drive. The lever lock cannot be opened with a master key, the levers are complex-shaped plates, the larger they are, the less chances of intruders entering the apartment. Cylinder locks also determine secrecy; it is very difficult to crack the door with a master key. All of the above options are convenient and have a high degree of reliability. But the most modern option to isolate yourself from the outside world and protect your home from intruders is to install a “smart lock”. Such a mechanism is triggered only by scanning the retina, by fingerprint or entering a password and the operation of the key. The principle of operation of digital smartlocks is as follows – you need to dial a special code on the panel and attach the key, if everything is done correctly, the door will open. In the event of a power outage, an autonomous power supply is activated, that is, a battery that can last for 48 hours.

It is rational to use a scanner to scan the retina, a fingerprint reader or install a chip key. Despite the high reliability, the “smart lock” has drawbacks – such a pleasure costs between $ 500-3000, and an apartment with a scanner will also attract curious people, thieves and vandals.
